David has appeared in many Off-Broadway, Off-Off-Broadway, Film, TV and regional productions. His NYC credits include: Peer in “Peer Gynt” and Edmond in “King Lear” at CSC REP., Dr. Dorn in “The Seagull” and Caesar in “Julius Caesar” at the American Globe Theatre, James Joyce in Perkasie Theatre Company’s “Travesties;” and at the Terry Schreiber Studio he has performed Vershinin in “Three Sisters,” Astrov in “Uncle Vanya” and Flan in “Six Degrees of Separation.” He has worked as an Artist-in-residence at Millersville University, The North Carolina School of the Arts and East Carolina University. Along with his wife Elli Michaels, David is currently co-founder and Artistic Director of Bird-On-A-Cliff Theatre Company in Woodstock, New York, where he has been producing, directing and acting at the Woodstock Shakespeare Festival.
