Pozotron Studio’s proofing tool helps you ensure that misreads or missed words never make it through to publication. The AI-powered proofing algorithm matches your manuscript text to the audio file and catches every mispronunciation, inserted word, missed word, and long pause.

Plus, when proofing, the audio playback and manuscript sync perfectly, allowing proofers to easily track their place in the manuscript and catch every mistake in the audio file.

Script Prep Tools
Pozotron’s script preparation tools are designed to stop pickups before they happen, helping narrators and voice-over actors be more accurate while streamlining their research activities.

Here are a few terms you will want to know when you start with Pozotron!

• Proofing Tool – This tool helps ensure that misreads or missed words never make it through to publication. The AI-powered proofing algorithm matches your manuscript text to the narrated audio and catches every mispronunciation, inserted word, missed word, and long pause.

• Noise Detection – is a feature that helps detect audio distortions, synthetic sound issues, and natural noises (a dog barking or a fire truck siren). You will see this setting when creating a project and will see it in action in the Proofing Tool.

• Annotation – this is a potential pickup identified by the Pozotron Proofing Tool automatically. It needs to be reviewed by a human to determine whether it’s a pickup that needs fixing.

• Pickup – an annotation that you have identified as an issue that needs resolving.

• DAW Marker Exports – When you have finished reviewing your annotations and marking your pickups in the Proofing Tool, you have the option to export DAW markers and import them into your chosen DAW! Pozotron has a list of supported DAWs that you can check out here.

• Character Voice Guide – Character Voice Guide is one of the script prep features that help prepare the script before you start recording by scanning the whole text for Character names, creating a list of them, and giving you the option to do as much or as little prep on each as you like.

• Pronunciation Guide – is a script prep feature that helps scan the whole text for custom words, capitalized rares, and complex and foreign words. Here, you have one-click access to several integrated dictionaries to ensure you have the correct pronunciation before you start recording.

• Automated Script Markups – Export a ready-for-narration manuscript with automatic script highlighting and phonetic pronunciation comments. The Automated Script Markups tool will cut hours out of your script preparation and help you eliminate pickups before narration begins.

• Scan Occurrences – is a feature that helps to identify specific words that were wrongly pronounced during the narration and need further fixes in the whole script and audio.

How does our pricing work?
All our plans for our Proofing Tool are based on the cost of “Per Finished Hour” or PFH. There are discounts available based on the volume of hours included in the monthly subscription. Other tools in Pozotron studio will be a separate fee, with some tools available free of charge.

All Pozotron plans are a monthly commitment, so users are free to change plans month to month with no penalties.

• Pickup Packet Exports (updated and streamlined .html format with expandable context, MP3 samples included)

Script Prep Pricing

To access the Pronunciation Research, Character Voice Guide, Scan Occurrences, and Automated Script Markup features, Pozotron charges a flat rate per project.

You will not be charged again for that specific project once the flat rate has been paid.

Script prep prices are dependent on your proofing subscription with Pozotron.

The prices to use all of Pozotron’s prep features for an individual project are:

• $14.00 per project for Pay As You Go plan users
• $12.50 per project for Smart Rollover plan users
• $12.00 per project for Narrator plan users
• $11.00 per project for Publisher plan users
